We offer two different veg box schemes;

Bocs Aberystwyth
Our veg boxes are made up locally from the fruit and veg sold in the shop and special seasonal produce from local growers. As far as possible we try to use predominantly locally grown and Welsh vegetables, although to continue to provide a wide variety of produce (and to avoid root vegetable overload in the winter) we supplement this with other British and imported items (although we never use anything that has been air freighted).

Everything is certified organic with the exception of some of our smaller local growers, who follow all the principals of chemical and pesticide free growing, but are not certified by the soil association.
Delivery is either on Thursday evening or Friday morning, and is free of charge on our existing route; Penrhyncoch, Iger, Borth- from pick up point, Bow Street, Llandre, Commins Coch, Waunfawr, Llanbadarn Fawr) up to 100m from the main road, subject to pre payment for 9 boxes (and then get the tenth box on us!). Delivery off route is subject to a £2.00 delivery charge for up to the first two miles, then 50p per mile thereafter.
The first box can be paid for as a one off to see whether you like it.

Alternatively boxes can be picked up from the shop on Friday (please order your next box as you pick up the current one).

Standard veg; £6.00
Standard fruit; £6.00
Fruit and veg; £9.00
Bumper veg; £12.00

Pay for nine boxes and the tenth one is free (delivery or pick up).

New and Eggciting!
Add eggs to your veg box order;
Add £1.75 to the veg box price for half a dozen large local organic eggs (from Nantclyd Farm in Llanilar).

Bocs Llambed


These boxes are picked up from a growers wholesaler in Lampeter and contain a similar range of fruit and vegetables to our Aber boxes.
Delivery is on a Thursday morning along the road from Lampeter to Aberystwyth, and same delivery conditions apply (free of charge on our existing route up to 100m from the main road, subject to pre payment for 10 boxes (in which case you only pay for 9 boxes). Delivery off route is subject to a £2.00 delivery charge for up to the first two miles, then 50p per mile thereafter.
Again the first box can be paid for as a one off to see whether you like it.

Payment

Either order and pay in the shop, send a cheque with a note specifying which box you require, or speak to us about other arrangements.
